Slowdown of food price inflation stumbles with groceries 6.8% more expensive that a year ago in January - down from 6.9% last month - as supermarkets offers fewer deals after Christmas, figures show

Grocery prices in Britain were 6.8 per cent more expensive than a year ago in January which was only a slight easing from December's 6.9 per cent, according to analysts Kantar.
